vgcrewind.com is a free tool for rebuilding Pokémon VGC matches as replays from notes. It is run by Sean Kochhar. Questions about this page or your data go to [email protected].

What gets collected

• If you sign in: your email address. With Google sign-in, also your name and your Google account ID. The only access asked of Google is openid, email and profile. Nothing else is read from your Google account.
• What you save: match notes, team sheets, the replays built from them, and the visibility you picked for each. A match can be private, unlisted or public, and its team sheets can be hidden, shown as an open team sheet, or shown in full.
• Cookies and browser storage: a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. A small value stored in your browser remembers matches you saved before signing in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
• Server logs: standard logs of IP address, the page requested and the time. They are kept for security and abuse prevention, for up to 30 days.

How it is used

To run the site, show your matches the way you chose, and send sign-in links. Your data is not sold. There are no ads, and you are not tracked across other sites.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare sits in front of the site for networking and security.
• Resend delivers sign-in emails.
• Google handles sign-in, only if you choose Google sign-in.

Who can see your matches

A private match is only visible to you. Public and unlisted matches can be seen by anyone with the link, including whatever team sheet details you chose to share. Public matches are also listed on the browse page.

Your choices

You can change a match's visibility or delete it at any time. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email [email protected]. Deleting your account from inside the site is coming. Requests are handled within 30 days. Deleted data can stay in the server's backups for up to 30 days before those backups roll off. Only the site operator can reach the backups.

Children

vgcrewind is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy are posted on this page, with the date at the top updated.
